    Directory Listing and htaccess

I have a directory with a bunch of files, but there is no index.html file in there. When I try to view the directory from my browser, it gives me a 403 Forbidden error. Is there anyway I can get my browser to show the directory file listing for a particular directory?

I'm guessing it has something to do with htaccess. Does anyone know a good htaccess reference site (aside from password protection)?

Yup you can toggle that using a .htaccess file. Just place the following line in it and upload it to the relevant directory:

    Options Indexes

...and it should get your directory file listing moving.
