Subdomains and FTP accounts

When I set up a subdomain does it automatically have its own ftp account or do I have to set that up for the subdomain too?

If I have to setup the ftp account too how would I make it interact with the Subdomain?

You have to set up the FTP account separately. To make an FTP account interact with a subdomain, just create an FTP account from the control panel and make the login name the same as the subdomain's name. Then that FTP account will only be able to log into the subdomain's folder.
