    Perl Script Checker

    My current host has this wonderful Perl script checker in its control panel. It checks the Perl syntax, permissions etc.

    Does you have this?

    Does Perl display/output the cause of syntax errors in any case so that I wouldn't need the checker in the first instance?

    This for me is one of the first things I look for in a host!

    I'm not sure if Axislayer has anything like that in their control panel, but Perl has a special variable, $!, which contains error information.
